Xiaomi Mi 3 battery life test

Xiaomi Mi 3 battery life test

China’s most popular smartphone to date – Xiaomi Mi 3 – received our traditional review treatment already and it did great indeed. We’ve even met its successor – the Xiaomi Mi 4 and in addition to the snappy performance, the Mi 4 presented very good battery endurance.
Now, just a few days before we publish our Xiaomi Mi 3 versus Xiaomi Mi 4 in-depth comparison, we are going to share with you the Xiaomi Mi 3 full battery breakdown.
The Xiaomi Mi 3 is running on a Snapdragon 801 chipset, features a 5″ 1080p display, and is powered by a 3,050 mAh battery. We’ve expected above average performance, and it did deliver such.
Our first test is all about 3G talk time endurance and the Xiaomi Mi 3 did excellent at 13 and a half hours before it battery went dead. This is a few hours less than the Mi 4, but a great score nevertheless. Note that we’ve tested the web browser test on Google Chrome, as the default MIUI browser crashed occasionally during our traditional battery routine.
