Why Android Is Domination The Smartphone Market

Android is a wonderful OS which is used by some of the top brands of industry,

Android is a not so old mobile operating system, it was released commercially in 2008 but it has achieved so much in so little time, no one would’ve thought that Android will take our Apple’s majority in smartphone market but they took it and took it with style, there’s no wrong in saying that Android is Wolf of Silicon Valley (in a good way).

Android is mainly based on Unix-like which is also open source just like Android, Android is published by the search engine giant, Google and lots of the big guns in mobile industry like Samsung, LG, HTC etc. are using it.

But what makes it so good? Why and how it dominated the market?

First thing first, Android is a open license operating system which means every company is allowed to use Android as their stock operating  system for their mobile phones and tablets so that’s one thing.

Although Apple ain’t so bad but everyone needs a option and Android made that option possible and because the operating system is so good, once you use it, you’ll never feel the same thing when using other mobile OS.

Android made Smartphones a budget product for everyone, as Apple were the only one of its kind in the market they took advantage from this fact and raise the price a lot higher then they were suppose to be but as people had no choice they had to buyit but Android changed all this, as said above Android is a open source OS which means everyone can use so that created competition in the market and we all know competition makes things better and the results are that you can easily buy a decent Android smartphone for 150$ – 200$ where as a Iphone will cost you 600$+, and that’s a huge difference.

Android made aap developing easy and doable for avg developers and lowered the publishing fee therefore the result was they got blasted with new apps and a day came when they had more apps in the market then Apple’s app market so this was a really big setback for Apple.

But still they both are big guns in the market and Apple is still doing enormous amount of business in the market but Android has really did the impossible which no one thought it could.
